Every vessel and overland company in the record has its own page. A ship is not a voyage: each sailing is recorded separately, and passengers are attached to the voyage they actually travelled on.
Also in the record: the overland companies that completed the journey west; rail routes through Albany, Rochester, Niagara, Detroit, Chicago and Quincy; and the Mississippi and Missouri River steamboats that carried emigrants inland.
Two great routes carried the Welsh companies west — by New Orleans and the rivers, or by New York and the rails.
